diana-the-amazon-princess:
Diana flexed her fingers over her sword, one of many weapons she had brought with her to the cave. Dinah was unable to make today’s session and so she asked the Amazon to act as a substitute.
Really Dinah, me? She had said to fair haired woman with a tone of unmistakably skeptism.
You’d rather have one of the boys train them? Or Shayera? Diana rolled her eyes at the thought of men coming to train the group. Not that she didn’t respect them but most agreed, Dinah, Diana and Shayera were the best fights. With Dinah have that motherly sweetness to her voice was always the obvious choice…Shayera was a bit too…brutal. Diana was the medium, the woman with the military mind…still she had a no-nonsense attitude most didn’t take well too.
Fine, but remember who’s idea this was Dinah, remember-
When one of them comes to me crying? Yes, I’ll remember princess. With that Dinah was gone and Diana found herself in the cave, sighing heavily as she tried to focus her attention on the wisdom aspect of her personality as it was the most of her kindness she could muster.
With the knowledge of Black Canary’s absence and Wonder Woman posing as her substitute, M’gann made her way to the training room.
She had trained extensively with Black Canary and a few other leaguers over the years, however training with the Amazon Warrior was a rare treat and something she had not experienced personally, as Cassie usually occupied all of Diana’s time, and patience, for excersizes. So even with five years of Martial Arts training behind her, M’gann knew there was a lot the Amazon could offer, and who was she to deny such an offer? She had long admired the skills and spirit Diana possesed and was eager to begin training.
“Good Morning, Wonder Woman” M’gann greeted with a slight bow of her head as she approached her.
